I provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families to enable people to heal, grow and transform, recognize their strengths and creativity, and become more aware, empowered and whole. I work collaboratively to help clients develop healthy relationships with themselves, their body image and food, and with each other. I am honored to be a facilitator of the Am I Hungry?® Mindful Eating for Binge Eating program. I work with individuals to learn skills to eat mindfully, stop yo-yo dieting and emotional and/or binge eating, and to build new coping strategies around food, body image and life in general through a mindful eating practice. I understand professionally and personally the relationship between body image and food. Negative body image and destructive eating are sometimes symptoms of trauma, habit, family patterns, and greatly from our society and the media. I take great pleasure in helping people heal and get healthy from the inside out, |
