About Ann:

Ann Boudreau, founder, creator, and Health & Wellness Coach at Mindful Health Journeys, has a degree in Human Resource Management & Development, is a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and a Licensed Facilitator & Coach through Am I Hungry?® Mindful Eating Programs & Training. Ann worked as a leader in Human Resources for over 25 years before starting her own business. She is committed to encouraging and supporting sustainable health through mindful eating and living with non-dieting, weight-neutral, mindfulness-based approaches to optimal self-care.

Mindful Health Journeys was founded by Ann in 2016. She created her business after she turned her own health around in a natural, safe and sustaining way. She has an ardent desire to help as many others as she may possibly help to be free from dieting for good, to be free of deprivation and restriction, to be free to eat what they love, to be free to find pleasure in what they eat, and to be free of feelings of guilt and shame. Mindful Health Journeys was created to offer others this freedom. The programs offered are intended to help others notice and enjoy eating while also being aware of the effects food has on the body. The programs teach awareness of physical and emotional cues, recognition of non-hunger triggers for eating, how to meet needs in more effective ways than with eating, choosing foods for both enjoyment and nourishment, eating for optimal satisfaction and satiety, and using the fuel consumed to live the full live we all crave. Mindful Health Journeys offers programs based on Dr. Michelle May's Am I Hungry?® Mindful Eating Cycle and her book series, EAT WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU EAT, which helps us discover why we eat in the first place, and how we decide when/what/how and how much we eat, and where we will invest the energy consumed. Mindful Health Journeys offers talks, workshops, coaching, and workplace wellness programs.

Discover different characteristics, behaviors, daily activities, and attitudes towards food of those who manage their eating effortlessly, those who struggle with food and eating, those who manage their eating with rules, and then those who switch between struggling and eating with rules over and over again (yo-yo dieting). While many of us stay trapped in unhealthy habits, there is another option. Learn how to be in charge (mindfully) versus out of control (mindlessly) so YOU can make the decision about when, what, and how much you eat and where to invest your energy. You CAN learn how to eat what you love!

This eight-week comprehensive and interactive workshop series will change your relationship with food forever. Break the eat, repent, repeat cycle once and for all. You will learn how to truly be in control of your food without dieting, how to eat what you love without overeating and guilt, how to recognize and use your hunger cues, how to put an end to mindless and emotional eating and how you can once again live a life filled with joy! You will also discover you are not alone with this struggle as we explore strategies together. Participants will each be provided with an award-winning resource book and workbook for use on this very personal journey. BONUS – this series includes one 50 minute private coaching sessions for each participant to be redeemed between session six and eight.
