Welcome!

Congratulations on exploring possibilities for how to take better care of yourself mentally and physically. Wanting to change your relationship with food, eating and your body are totally understandable if you are stuck in the pain of emotional eating, diets that clearly don’t work (and often create more damage than they help), and the shame and guilt of overeating, then restricting food and the frustration and struggle of just not knowing how to create self-change that enables you to feel good about you and about your life.

Welcome to someone who knows your struggles and pain. I too had disordered eating and emotional eating earlier in my life. I was so out of touch with what was going on with me and especially my feelings. I later found out that it wasn't as much about the actual food as it was about why I was eating. Thanks to mindful eating and personal coaching you can understand your self better, gain skills and mindsets that enable you to change, and you too can develop greater self-care abilities.

Future change begins now and it truly is "progress not perfection" for all of us!

As a retired RN and Professionally Certified Health & Wellness Coach I specialize in coaching individuals to develop greater mental and physical well-being in their lives. Together we work to enable you to live with greater freedom and personal peace because you have healed the underlying conflict you have with food. Together we get you living with more joy and less angst over food. We help you develop a healthier relationship with food, eating, and your body and we get you to move more, become more active and live a bigger and better life. I work in an holistic way with my clients so we assess your whole life and together we enable you to find and use your strengths, and make tiny changes that add up to significant life changes. We get you moving into an upward spiral of wellbeing and out of the downward spiral you might be in.

I work with clients by phone, internet, Skype and FaceTime anywhere in North America.
