I became a Licensed Facilitator and Coach for the Am I Hungry Mindful Eating Program in order to share life altering knowledge with people who want to stop dieting and start living!
I began using food to comfort myself at a young age, and continued to be an emotional eater for 30 years. I spent most of my time and energy trying to lose weight, jumping from one diet to the next. When I discovered the Am I Hungry Mindful Eating Program, it changed my life! It showed me that I can enjoy all foods if I use balance, variety, and moderation, as my guide. I have transformed my relationship with food and eat mindfully, rather than mindlessly. It is a relief to enjoy all types of food, without guilt or shame.
After freeing myself from the daily anguish that my love-hate relationship with food caused, I became interested in helping others do the same. I have a Master’s Degree in Professional Communication and am thrilled to combine my passion for communication and food, in order to help others who are focused on improving their overall health and well-being.
