Wishing those who celebrate Christmas a very merry mindful day, and also a wonderfully mindful day to those who don’t.
I’m enjoying a beautiful morning with my husband. I’ve been looking out our apartment window at a snow covered hill sparkling like diamonds in the morning sun and a relaxing, bubbling, moving stream winding its way through the snow.
I’ve started cooking a few items for today’s dinner while remembering to acknowledge those who have made it possible for all the special ingredients from around the country and in some cases, the world, to come together in our kitchen in Michigan to be enjoyed later today as a special meal. I’m also appreciating the beautiful people in my life and because of their love, feeling like one of the richest women alive. I am mindfully and gratefully enjoying the moments, and look forward to eating our Christmas Day dinner with mindfulness and thankfulness as well.
